Guide to Exhibit

What's SEECAT

The Special Equipment Exhibition and Conference on Anti-Terrorism (SEECAT) is the only business trade show in Japan to counteract terrorism that gathers people involved in anti-terrorism efforts. By making it a closed show with only the visitors who passed the admission screening, we create an environment for targeted and efficient matching among officials from the public safety sector including the police department, fire department, and Self Defense Forces, as well as those in the private sector who are involved in the crisis management of key energy networks, transportation infrastructure, big shopping malls, and similar facilities.
A series of unpredictable incidents have occurred across the world in public spaces and important facilities, exposing the vulnerability of social infrastructure in ways that defy previous assumptions. In particular, responding to the potential threat of lone offenders and new threats that exploit cutting-edge technology has become a common and important issue that requires "strengthening countermeasures from all angles" for both the public and private sectors.
SEECAT disseminates the latest technologies and information aimed at preventing and countering terrorism and has earned the trust of industry professionals as a central venue for gathering the reliable, specialized information and latest technologies they need on the front lines of counter-terrorism efforts.
